This blog is going to chronicle my learnings on setting up a proper home server!
Right now, this server is running on a Raspberry Pi 4B running DietPi OS. Since I am behind double NAT, port forwarding is impossible. However, Cloudflare has an amazing product called Tunnel that lets me bypass the NAT.
I have purchased a used Dell Optiplex 3060 SFF computer with decent specs and plan to run various services on it via dockerized containers and proper subdomain based reverse proxying. I will chronicle the entire journey on this blog.
